Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a really positive experience learning to operate the novice counterbalance and pivot truck. Keith was knowledgeable, patient and professional throughout the training, and explained everything clearly and in a way that was easy to understand.

He created a relaxed and supportive learning environment, which really helped build my confidence, particularly when learning new manoeuvres and techniques. He was always happy to answer questions and took the time to make sure I understood both the practical and safety aspects of operating the trucks.

Overall, I found the training very informative, enjoyable and confidence-building. I would definitely recommend the instructor to anyone looking to complete this type of training.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Did a refresher course on the counterbalance with Keith yesterday, it went very well, instructions were easy to understand and was helpful throughout the whole day, also great at keeping you calm as it can be very nerve racking.

What is Forklift Training?

Being responsible for driving a forklift is a serious task and it is important that you know all of the latest regulations. In industrial, logistical and manufacturing industries, these trucks are used on a regular basis to help move products around sites. Without fully training drivers, these industries would struggle and there is an increased risk of injuries and fatalities in a workplace.

The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) outlines that around 8,000 workplace accidents a year are caused by forklifts. This is a shocking figure and accounts for 25% of all accidents. As well as making a site safe, forklift training courses cover much more. It gives operators skills in controlling cargo, checking equipment, and maneuvering correctly and safely.

Abrasive Wheels Training

When it comes to this training, this is ideal for those who want to build skills and knowledge of the safe fitting of abrasive wheels. The course covers all of the latest regulations and guidance on use and fitting, ensuring that your staff are up to date with the details they need to know. The Health and Safety at Work Act requires any person working in this field to have appropriate training and it is the responsibility of a business owner to ensure this is completed.

Some of the aspects covered by this will be wheel storage and mounting, effects of silica dust and hand arm vibration on health, control measures, as well as abrasive wheel specifications and types.

We can also provide training on LGVs, including shunter courses, driver assessments, and lorry banksmen. If you would like more details, please do not hesitate to get in contact with our team today on.
